Expand Scholarship and Financial Aid Support!

The COVID-19 pandemic has created financial uncertainty for many of our families. In response, the Music Institute has lowered our threshold to qualify for aid, increased the minimum award per student, and increased our overall aid budget by 15%. For as little as $30, your family can help MIC students continue their music lessons.

Join the Music Institute virtually for two programs featuring performances by students age 7 to 17 in support of scholarships and financial aid. The recitals showcase Community Music School and Academy musicians prerecorded at the beautiful and historic Nichols Concert Hall. The weekend culminates with a virtual backstage pass prior to a live 98.7WFMT broadcast from the hall featuring CSO concertmaster Robert Chen and the Chen Family Quartet!

Friday, October 9 at 7 pm ($30)

Saturday, October 10 at 5 pm ($30)

Weekend Pass ($100)

Weekend Passes and sponsorships of $100 or more include both programs plus an exclusive backstage pass to hear from CSO Concertmaster Robert Chen and his family prior to their live performance at Nichols Concert Hall.

Sunday, October 11 at 2:15 pm
